Truck Bed Covers aren’t Falling Under the Pressure

Well, I have a great story for you. Me and my girl where camping at about the 9,000 foot level on Mt. Biggie, and the snow had been drifting down for the last few days pretty quick. There was already about 2 and a half feet there when we got there. It halted for about 3 or 4 hours that day, almost great timing for us to get everything set up to camp for the weekend.

I had brought my Chevy 4×4, so there would not be any hitches with the snow. So, we fell asleep that night to snow fall, and in the middle of the night, we were woke up to our shelter collapsing on us.

Evidently we had not adjusted for that abundance of snow fall. I got up, and prepared to look around for one thing to help us, when I looked over and observed my truck. Yep, that’s the solution. The pickup bed covers. Sherry stayed under the broken tent, till I cleared out the bed of the truck. I hoisted the truck bed cover and moved the rim I had back there out onto the snow, cleaned the bottom off, and put some quilts down. We slipped into our new rose up to over five feet of snow and a wonderful clear day. We started a fire, had some coffee, and ate breakfast. Truthfully, the back of my truck was much more comfortable than the tent. We liked it so much, we stayed another two nights and it was great! Thank goodness for our truck bed covers.
