Company iPhone Insurance Saved My Skin From Ruin

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

I couldn’t have been having a worse day when my iPhone insurance really came into play saved the day, as well as my job! It took me years to get my boss to give me my big break. The time was finally here to prove myself to him, the company, and our richest clients.

I was in charge of the most important meeting of the year, and of my career. I was late for my plane, my luggage was lost and as I was headed to the hotel to prepare for the meetings the next week when I accidentally left my brand new iPhone in the hire car. I tried to find it, I called the car company, even went there to see if it had been turned in but to no avail.

My iPhone ran my life. This was my only means of contacting the office, the only way to get my emails and was how I was suppose to get the important files that I needed for a huge meeting in just two days. I had no idea what I was going to do. I was going to be completely lost without my iPhone.

I was certain that I would be fired from a job I loved all because I couldn’t get it back. As I sat in tears trying to muster the courage to call my boss on the hotel phone, I remembered that I had purchased iPhone insurance. But would it cover my own daft actions? How could they help me when I was far from home and would it be in time? I wasn’t sure what they could do but I borrowed a co-worker’s computer and went to the site and found it was easier than I ever could have imagined and fast too.

I filed my claim on Friday night and before my meeting Monday morning, I had a replacement. I never even had to tell my boss about the blunder and I had all my addresses on backup thanks to their wonderful address book back up program. I never even had to miss a beat. It was less than 48 hours and my iPhone insurance replaced my phone, got my address book and other necessary programs back up and into my hands.

I was ready for my meeting and impressed both the client and my boss. In fact, I got a promotion shortly after this because I had everything I needed to get the job done. I would never again go without iPhone insurance. I insure my mp3 player, iPhone, and all my electronic hand held devices. It is affordable and can literally make your life easier when it really matters!

iPhone Applications Can Make You Money

Monday, February 16th, 2009

Iphone applications can make you big money! Did you know that a 9 Year old Whiz Kid can program an iphone application and get thousands of downloads in just a few weeks? In fact, this young man had 4000 downloads in a very short time, and it’s not his only application. Just think – what if he earned $1.50 for each download? Yes, $6,000 and counting. Another iphone application whiz – Ethan Nicholas – made over $35,000 in a single day from his iphone application! His success is definitely worth emulating.

But before you say “I couldn’t do that, I don’t know programming” – please hold on! Don’t count yourself out of the iphone marketing game just yet. Here’s a little known secret – you don’t have to know a thing about programing to make money with iphone applications! Like every other work at home business opportunity, you can outsource much of this business model, including the actual programming of an iphone application. If you have the idea and spot the need, there are trustworthy contractors who can do the actualy programming for you.

Entrepreneurs in the iphone applicaton business get paid not because they know how to program, per se, but because they know how to spot a need (or want) and fill it for their customers. The same holds true when it comes to making money with iphone applications. Spotting the need and coming up with the initial idea are as important as the programming. Once programmed and accepted by iTunes, a little publicity can send downloads through the roof. You could create a windfall of cash or an ongoing stream of revenue if you learn the ropes of creating and marketing iphone applications. Undoubtedly there are pitfalls and deadends in this business as with any other. But for the foreseeable future, there is a great opportunity to prosper while creating iphone applications for those who see the potential and invest themselves in serving iphone customers.

Cool Gadgets And Services

Electric cars seem to be getting a lot of press lately. Recently, Tesla’s electric car was featured on Top Gear. The car has very good performance and can last a reasonable distance before needing to be recharged. With a price tag of around $100K, though, it definitely isn’t cheap. You can always try doing an electric car conversion on your current car, but this will require a lot of work and time. Also, since gas prices have dropped a lot in the last few months, the idea of an electric car isn’t as appealing compared to when gas cost $4/gallon. Still, the Tesla roadster is a pretty sweet looking car, and electric cars have a number of other advantages too.

Another gadget that’s becoming more and more popular by the day is the Apple iPhone. The problem is that it is locked on to AT&T as the service provider by default, which is why people are searching for ways to unlock iphone. This way, you can use a different service provider. There is lots of cheap software on the internet that can unlock your iphone.

Finally, another cool thing that has been popular for a while now is the ability to lookup someones phone number. A reverse phone lookup will give you the name, address and more of the owner of the phone number you enter. There are a few online services that can lookup phone numbers for you, and they typically have millions of numbers in their database (so you can be fairly sure that they’ll have details on the number you’re looking for).
