Connective tissue manipulation and Manual lymph drainage dealing with Sciatica

Sciatica

Is the Latin word for “discomfort” down the back of the leg” Sciatica is referred pain often caused by squashing the sciatic nerve in the lower back. The sciatic nerve travels from the lower back down through the buttocks and along the back of each leg. Sciatica is pain travelling this nerve and is a fairly common form of back pain and is normally caused by stress on the sciatic nerve from a herniated or bulging disc. The pain from sciatica can be anything from rare and annoying to extreme and crippling.

Usually, it effects only one side, the pain moving down the buttock and down the leg and is often linked with a constant pain on one side of the buttocks, pain in the leg and/or buttock that may become more painful when seated. Other sensations are a burning or pins and needles down the leg, weakness, numbness or difficulty moving the leg or foot or a shooting pain that makes it difficult to stand up.

Though sciatica can be extremely painful and uncomfortable, it is rare that permanent nerve harm (tissue injury) results. Most injury is due to swelling and will improve within a period of time. Nerve discomfort is caused by a mixture of compaction and inflammation on the nerve root, and dealing with it is centred on relieving both of these conditions. Back pain is extremelly uncomfortable and this amazing technique helps relieve the pain and get people back to their normal existence.
